| Me: | There is literally nothing sexual about my pajamas or my thighs or my ass. It is summer. It's like 80 degrees in our house. I shouldn't have to wear a parka just because society dictates that a ~*scantily-clad female*~ is inherently sexual. |
| Mom: | It's not okay for you to be around your brother or your dad dressed like that. |
| Me: | But it's totally fine for Derek to walk around without a shirt even though he's wearing less clothing than I am? |

| Me: | So you're admitting it's a double-standard. |
| Mom: | Look, it's not a debate, I'm requesting that you wear more conservative clothing when you are around the males of this family. |
